Mistle Thrush (Turdus viscivorus) Tordeia

Mistle Thrushes are a large Thrush, resident throughout the year.

Spotted rather than streaked chest, belly and flanks coupled with an upright gait and a light grey back, make this an easy species to distinguish, but they are shy and unlikely to allow a close approach, so it's just as well. Though a woodland species it often forages in the open.
