Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus) Tartaranhão-azulado

A winter visitor to this area, Hen Harriers spend their breeding season much further north. A very "clean" bird, with the male's white belly being noticeably different than the more common Montagu's. Other differences with the latter include a fuller inner chord to the wing in both sexes and the lack of any diagonal black band on the upper wing of the male.
